The PEF Board has set bold financial goals to support the standard of excellence for Pasco School District students. Annual distribution of scholarships takes place each May. In 2018, along with dedicated donors, community partners, and local support the Pasco Education Foundation awarded over $60,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors.
In addition to scholarships, a host of mini grants have been awarded. Teachers, and programs such as the Pasco High and Chiawana High Music Boosters, Edwin Markham Elementary, New Horizons Teen Program, FFA, and the Pasco School District Music programs have all benefited.
The PEF Board of Directors operates independently but in cooperation with the Pasco School District. All contributions received by the Foundation are dedicated to enhance programs and opportunities for Pasco students beyond what can be provided through public funding. The PEF is charitable non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization, all donations are tax deductible.
